Edinburgh Castle on a crisp December afternoon. I love the silhouette the light creates and the cloud pattern gives the picture more depth.

Lucky Pennies at Clifford's Tower in York

Two pictures from a trip to York in July. The coins are at Clifford's Tower and the wee bird was quite happy to stand and pose for a picture.

Cast of a body found at Pompeii
Padlocks on the gates of Juliet's House in Verona
After a wee hiatus due to the small matter of getting married I'm back up and running! Here are a few pictures that I took in Italy while we were there on honeymoon. It's a beautiful country - can't wait to back. We visited Venice, Verona Rome and Pompeii so here are some pictures from each location. Hope you enjoy! =) All of the places we visited are fascinating. I particularly liked seeing the thousands of padlocks at Juliet's House in Verona and in contrast the bodies at Pompeii are really quite eery but captivating.

Some pictures from the Twilight Photography course that I went on with my dad last night. It was so much fun and I learnt how to use my camera properly at night time. The middle picture is my first attempt at a light trail and I think it turned out alright! Just need a bit more practice!

A couple of pictures from a wee wander down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh during the Fringe.

Another couple of pictures from the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland when we visited in March. Such a beautiful part of the world I could while away many a happy hour there - depsite the fact that it's a busy place you can feel like you're the only people there. I can't wait to go back.

Two pictures of the same flowers but from slightly different perspectives and angles. Hanging from a beautiful building by York Minster. I like the brightness of the colours despite the fact that it was quite a dull day - just before we go drenched!
